The Slammer II has been designed with a small footprint, and is capable of being used in vertical or horizontal orientation to fit in with installations if required. The cabinet is robustly constructed from 18mm plywood with asymmetric internal bracing to reduce cabinet modes and standing waves. A tough steel grille protects the speakers.
It has jack, XLR and phono inputs, plus XLR link outputs to allow connection to, and integration with virtually any system or install.
The internal amplifiers provide 300W to the subwoofer section (which uses dual custom designed long throw 10" woofers, with Kevlar loaded cones), and 2 x 150w (into 4 ohm) to the satellite outputs.
Controls are provided for left and right satellite volume, subwoofer volume and crossover point (all with built in limiters to prevent damage and distortion), plus phase reversal switch (between sub and sats), and a 120Hz switchable high pass filter on the satellite outputs.
All the inputs and controls can be covered with the included tamper proof panel to prevent unwanted alterations after set up.
